Inspired by former Coinbase CTO Balaji Srinivasan's theory on the network state, Chika Uwazie and Eche Emole pivoted their Network, Afropolitan in February 2022 to build the first ever digital nation. The duo have since raised $2.1million to establish an internet country that enables one billion Africans to build abundant lives. With the Afropolitan mission in it's first phase, Chika and Eche are inviting 500 Africans, Africans in diaspora, and allies to join the mission.
